Graphics-card dimensions: compare two complete MSI card envelopes
The exact RTX 4060 and RTX 4070 SUPER VENTUS 2X models differ in length, width and thickness. Use the complete card and configured case limits.

Use the complete card dimensions, not the GPU family or connector
MSI lists its GeForce RTX 4060 VENTUS 2X BLACK 8G OC at 199 × 120 × 41 mm and GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER 12G VENTUS 2X OC at 242 × 125 × 43 mm. Those are dimensions of two exact cards, not every RTX 4060 or RTX 4070 SUPER product. The graphics chip name and a familiar PCIe connector do not establish the cooler, bracket or cable envelope.
For a length-sensitive UK desktop purchase, retain the full card manufacturer, family, cooler variant and OC suffix. A retailer line shortened to RTX 4070 SUPER may not identify the same physical product. This guide answers the dimension question; it does not rank gaming performance or claim either card fits a particular complete build without the remaining conditions.

Compare all three axes before the case decision
The documented difference between these models is 43 mm along the first listed dimension, 5 mm along the second and 2 mm along the third. A modest thickness difference can still matter near a side panel, another expansion position or a compact-case divider. A large remaining length does not compensate for an excessive thickness or a blocked power connector.
The actual PNY RTX 5060 Ti photograph shows a complete cooler, bracket and board rather than only an edge connector. The separate MSI RTX 2080/Gigabyte RTX 3090 photograph makes an actual body-size difference visible between two other cards. None is either proposed MSI variant, a calibrated measurement or a source of the dimensions in this table.
| Exact MSI model | Listed dimensions | Difference from smaller model |
|---|---|---|
| RTX 4060 VENTUS 2X BLACK 8G OC | 199 × 120 × 41 mm | Reference for this comparison |
| RTX 4070 SUPER 12G VENTUS 2X OC | 242 × 125 × 43 mm | 43 × 5 × 2 mm larger in listed axes |
Read a configured case limit, not a collection of independent maxima
Fractal’s Terra product page lists a 322 mm GPU length limit, a 145 mm width limit, a 72 mm thickness limit and a 48 mm CPU-cooler height in its current summary. Those figures must not be converted into a claim that every component at every maximum fits simultaneously. The actual adjustable layout, component interactions and detailed case instructions still matter.
For length arithmetic only, 322 minus 199 is 123 mm and 322 minus 242 is 80 mm. Those remainders omit reserves, connectors, brackets and other axes, so neither is a complete fit approval. The dimension tool on this site deliberately returns only a single-axis remainder and requires an explicit extra reserve when you have one.

Cable access and neighbouring hardware are additional constraints
Locate the power connector on the exact card and obtain the documented cable-clearance requirements. A listed width may not include the space needed by a connected cable and its permitted routing. Do not assume a particular bend reserve or squeeze a connector arrangement because a subtraction is positive. Follow the actual card, PSU and case guidance.
A card can also obscure adjacent expansion positions or conflict with a radiator, drive cage or fan. The actual AERO-branded installation shows the card sharing space with front fans, a support and its power cable. It is not a Terra build or proof of the proposed case clearances. Confirm the case configuration with those components installed in the plan; an empty-case maximum can describe another arrangement.

Make the physical evidence part of the quotation
Ask the UK supplier to identify the exact card variant, the full case and layout, any required support hardware and the documented cable route. If the seller proposes another cooler variant as equivalent, compare its dimensions again instead of transferring this table. A GPU chip with the same name can arrive on a very different board and heatsink.
There is no authorised live price or stock feed in this guide, and no frame-rate result has been measured. The useful conclusion is geometric: these two named cards differ across all three listed axes. Match the complete envelope and configured host limits, and keep any unresolved cable or neighbouring-component clearance open before purchase.
